This week in Transitions we continued to work on 2D and 3D shapes. We made 3D salt sculptures using salt, water and food coloring. The children had so much fun using food coloring on their 3D shapes. In Science we talked about penguins this week. We labeled their parts in our science journals, created and read a book about penguins together, and created our own penguins! Our letter this week was the letter Y. We traced, and used dot paint to differ uppercase and lowercase Y.  We also had fun making our Y project this week... Yo-Yo of course! Finally, on Friday instead of baking this week we ate our math lesson! (See attached file) Next weeks letter is the letter X.
