This week in Transitions we were Very Busy! We started out with our beautiful Christmas Concert. The class did great! Such enthusiasm! I was so proud of them! In Science we continued learning about winter animals and hibernation. We reinforced science and math by playing the hibernating bear game. The students had to roll the dice and count the number. Then they had to count out that amount of bears. Place them on the graph and then place them under their caves. At the end of the game each child lifted their cave and recounted all the bears to see who won. We started ordinal numbers and found out we use them every day! We reinforced our letters this week by playing a game called I have who has... the kiddos had to look at the image on the top of the card and state " I have..." then read the bottom of the card and ask the question "who has?" The game helps them to not only recognize letters that make a word but to use visual cues to help also. (see attached)  Finally this week we had a visit from the FUN BUS. Another Big THANK YOU to Mrs.Truberg and Julianna of course for their generosity. Next week there will be no letter since we have a short week. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all the Transitions Families!
