Letter D, Math Numbers, Fossils and the Pope!

posted Sep 26, 2015, 7:12 AM by Alexandra Arcuri
This week in Transitions we worked on numbers in math. We wrote them and played matching and counting games. In Science we learned all about Dinosaurs. All different kinds, some flew, some ate meat, some ate plants. We "dug" and looked for our dinosaur fossils and then we made fossil cookies on Friday! Yummy! We practiced the letter D the sound it makes, and different words that begin with D. In Religion we talked about Jesus and how he teaches us to walk with friends, we got to watch the Pope streaming live in our room! We talked about how important the Popes job is....He's the Boss of the Church! Finally, we took pictures with our cut out Pope and made Pope puppets! Looking forward to next weeks lessons on Seasons, Colors, and moving up to larger numbers.
