In Math this week we continued with addition. We reviewed all fifteen of our current sight words by playing games all week. We used magnets to spell them out and we"caught" our words pretending to be frogs. (See attached file) We continue working on reviewing our alphabet letters. O and P were this weeks letters. We discussed Memorial Day, family heroes, and created our Memorial day project for the hallway. The students are starting to read books in class! This is an exciting event for all! Finally, in Science we got to go to the the school wide science fair. We learned about gravity, the future, charging our electronics and clean water! In class for science we pretended to be frogs, colored frogs habitats, we watched a dvd on a frogs life and then celebrated by eating green colored iced pops.
